Will More American Soldiers Be Sent to Iraq in a Second Troop Surge?
The U.S. military’s top Joint Chiefs of Staff general is considering an even bigger troop surge than America has already seen.
Pace said the chiefs intend to be ready with recommendations on that for Bush by September.
Sadly this sounds more and more like the US will absolutely not admit defeat in Iraq, but rather is content to conitune sending more and more troops into harms way. Even with the current troop surge, top American generals are telling us it will take until at least late March to get Baghdad under control. Should we then assume it will take until 2030 to reign in the entire country?
