Pope Benedict Says, If You’re not Catholic, Then you’re not in true Church and You’re Defective
Pope Benedict has ignited controversy across the world by approving a document stating that non-Catholic Christian groups are either defective or not true churches, and the Roman Catholic Church provides the only true path to salvation.
Remember, the Roman Catholic Church claims other churches are defective while they themselves ignore Commandment #2 and bow down before graven images of Mary and various other saints.
”Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God…
“Christ established here on earth’ only one church,” said the document, reasserting the flawed belief that the paganistic teachings of Catholicism are a true form of Christianity, let alone the only pure and unblemished version.
It said other Christian churches such as the Protestants “cannot be called ‘churches‘ in the proper sense” since they don’t have what’s known as apostolic succession – that is, the ability to trace their bishops back to the original 12 apostles of Jesus.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to many Catholics, Paul not Peter, specifically told the gentile Romans that he had been chosen to be their Apostle.
“I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable” (Rom. 15:16).
During the period that Peter was supposedly setting up the Roman Catholic Church in Rome, he was actually no where near Rome. Around 45 A.D. Peter was cast into prison at Jerusalem (Acts 12:3, 4). Then in 49 A.D., he was still in Jerusalem, attending the Jerusalem Council. In 51 A.D. he was in Antioch of Syria where he got into differences with Paul because he wouldn’t sit or eat with Gentiles.
Odd is it not, that the man the Gentile Catholics claim is their link to Apostolic succession wouldn’t even sit or eat with Gentiles!
In about 66 A.D., Peter is found in the city of Babylon among the Jews (I Pet. 5:13). Peter was the Apostle to the CIRCUMCISED. He in Babylon because as history reveals, many Jews stayed in Babylon after ebing taken captive there.
At the time the Catholics claim Peter was in Rome building the Roman Catholic Church, the Bible clearly shows he was elsewhere. The Bible is very clear, Peter was never the Bishop of Rome! Meanwhile, the Catholic Church continues to lie and claim otherwise.
The Catholic document in question claims that the Orthodox church suffersfrom a “wound” because it did not recognize the primacy of the pope.
“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6)
This verse speaks for itself. The Pope is a glorfied nothing. It is by Christ alone that men can achieve salvation. There is no need for Catholic confession or for one to bow to the will of a haughty, self righteous ex-Nazi like Pope Benedict, or any other Pope for that matter.
Christians are to partake in a personal relationship with Christ. The humanistic, hands on, “Do as I say and I’ll forgive your sins for you” technique of Catholicism is not only nonsense, but it goes against everything Christ taught.
“These separated churches and communities, though we believe they suffer from defects, are deprived neither of significance nor importance in the mystery of salvation,” the document read.
Sadly, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is a mystery. Perhaps to those that are unfamiliar with the Bible it is such. But to those that have read the word of God, the term “mystery” reveals a much more sinister side of the pagan rooted Roman Catholic Church.

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Hmmm, a whore that sits upon a city of Seven Hills (Rome), that dresses in purple and scarlet, while fornicating and speaking blaphemy against God.
Truly this “If you’re not Cathilic, you’re defective” document is yet another case of blasphemy to add to the long list of pagan traditions and anti-christian declarations that have come from the great harlot known as Catholicism.
I call upon all Catholics who read this to research the origin of Mary worship. Look into the roots of the Madonna with child art that your church holds so dear.
Look into Semiramis, wife of Nimrod (builder of the Tower of Babel) and how the two contrived a system where by she, Nimrod, and her son Tammuz would be objects of worship. Knowing God’s promise of a future Savior (Gen.3:15), she claimed that Tammuz, her son, fulfilled this prophecy…
After their deaths, those that worshipped Tammuz extended their worship and adoration to Semiramis, just as Roman Catholicism has done and is doing with Mary. Roman Catholicism from the time of Constantine has twisted Christianity and merged it with the ancient Babylonian Mystery religion.
I ask you to research this for yourself. Read your Bible and ask God to reveal to you the truth about this abomination known as Roman Catholicism. I in no way am attacking Catholics themselves as many are wonderful Christians, but you must learn the truth about this false form of Christianity and it’s role in Bible Prophecy before the Roman Catholic leaders embrace the one known as the Antichrist and lead you down a road of eternal damnation.
Remember, if the Pope embraces the Antichrist’s arrival as the return of Christ, all devout Catholics will be “religiously bound” to follow his lead will worship him and recieve his mark and there is no mystery involved. The Bible is very clear, all who take the mark will burn in Hell.
We are now seeing a move to rejoin the world’s Christian churches under the rule of the Pope, so that when the time is right, the apostate church (NOT THE TRUE CHURCH) can and will be tricked into embracing the Antichrist.
Remember, THE ANTICHRIST will claim to be Christ. When Jesus returns, he will do so to defeat the armies of Satan and this Antichrist. When the Antichrist arrives he will most likely do so to stop the Gog Magog war in the Middle East, signing a 7 year peace treaty between Israel and her enemies.
DO NOT BE FOOLED! LEARN THE WORD OF GOD SO THAT YOU WILL NOT BE CONFUSED WHEN THESE PROPHECIES ARE FULFILLED!

The Catholic Church doesn’t require or endorse worshiping graven images (it actually forbids it).This is a very common misconception of what the Church teaches. The Church only encourages its members to use these images to help them in prayer (in other words Catholics don’t worship images and statues, they only use them as means of helping them meditate). For example, this is like having a picture of a loved one. You would use that picture to help remind you of that person.
Sure, I like to be reminded of loved ones. That doesn’t mean that I kneel before a statue of them, pray TO them and ask them to help me out.
I’m sorry, but meditating on Mary, or a statue of Mary to help get closer to Christ is a ridiculous concept that is not only unsupported Biblically, but borders on utter and complete abomination.
Likewise I’m sure Mary would be disgusted that members of “The Church” seem to hold her in more reverence than they do her son…
Then again, He’s only the savior of mankind, why shouldn’t people need a statue of Mary or some saint to help them meditate on Christ?
I just wanted to add that God in the Old Testament commanded the Jews to mount a serpant, and that all who would look upon it would be cured. He obviously didn’t want them to WORSHIP the serpent, but only to look upon it. He also told Mosses to write down the Ten Commandments and place them in the Ark. Again this was not WORSHIP, but these Ten Commandments contained in the Ark helped remind the Jews what God’s commands were.
So you’re going to equate kneeling and praying to a statue, or dead person to the creation of the Ark of the Covenant or another specific example where God COMMANDED the Israelites to do something?
Last I checked God at no time showed up and told the Pope to start mass producing ornate statues for people to pray to so as to help focus “The Church” in its meditation.
Catholics don’t pray to the statues. They are only secondary objects use to help us pray.
I think honoring Mary and asking for her intersetion IS BIBLICAL. Her cousin Elizabeth highly praised her in what Catholics call the Magnificat.
The Catholic Church teaches that there is a hierchy of teachings. In other words some teachings are more important them others. The Church is very much OPPOSED to giving her the glory that belongs to God alone.
I, like you, beleise that Jesus, not Mary, is the savior of mankind. Asking for Mary’s intercesssion is certaily not required for salvation, but her prayes certianly help.
God obviosly did not command the pope or anyone else to mass produce objects or statues. Remember, it is only a misconception that Catholics pray TO the statues. Any Catholic who prays TO statues or objects either doesn’t know what his church teaches, or doesn’t care about what his church teaches. The Church is 100 percent against WORSHIPING the STATUES.
I, like most christians, use the cross to help remind my of the sacrifice that my Lord made for my. I, like any other christian, would not WORSHIP it, only use it to inspire me.
By the way, I don’t view people who are not Catholic as ignorant, these are just common misconception of what the Catholic Church teaches.
I won’t fight you on this point. I believe that when you die, you’re dead until Christ returns. Clearly you think otherwise.
Unlike the Pope, I’m not going to sit here and say you must do as I say and believe as I do… or you’re “defective”, which was the point of this post.

I answer to no Pope. I kneel to no one except my God, Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ and I don’t need a statue, a cross, or some beads to remind me that Christ came to Earth and died for my sins and that thanks to Him I won’t spend eternity in Hell as payment for my sins.

I grew up Catholic and at no time did I hear that my sins separated me from God, that I was judged already and that I needed Jesus to save me. Nor was I ever told to read the bible for myself. I learned this from a friend and I gave my life to Christ. I spent 20 years in religious darkness. When I got saved I immediately repented and my eyes were opened. For 21 years now I have been studying the bible and every time I see Catholic masses on TV or hear a priest on TV it amazes me that they think the Catholic religion has any power to save. The are much like the Jews who believed that circumcision was a requirement for salvation. Paul said in Gal 5:1-10 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
