Saddam Hussein Believed 1993 World Trade Center Bombing Was an Inside Job

In the March 14, 2008 New York Sun article “Report Details Saddam’s Terrorist Ties” Eli Lake lays out many details from “a Pentagon review of about 600,000 documents captured in the Iraq war.”

While the article does attempt to link Saddam Hussein to international terror groups, one very telling detail, possibly far more damning than anything else in the report is that Saddam Hussein believed the first attack on the World Trade Center, the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing was either Israeli or American Intelligence.

“The report finds that Abdul Rahman Yasin, who is wanted by the FBI for mixing the chemicals for the 1993 World Trade Center Attack, was a prisoner, and not a guest, in Iraq. An audio file of Saddam cited by the report indicates that the Iraqi dictator did not trust him and at one point said that he thought his testimony was too “organized.” Saddam said on an audio file cited by the report that he suspected that the first attack could be the work of either Israel or American intelligence, or perhaps a Saudi or Egyptian faction.”

The link between the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing and factions within the United States willing to allow such an attack to go forth, is disgusting. Ridiculously, most Americans refuse to even ponder if any American agencies would have allowed 9/11 to occur. They allowed it it in 1993, why not in 2001?

This video should at least make many Americans at least question the role of some groups within the US government in the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing.

Ironic is the fact that most Americans not only believe(d) that Saddam Hussein was linked or somehow behind 911, he not only thought American Intelligence could have been behind the 1993 attack, but was actually jailing someone wanted for mixing the chemicals in the 1993 attack.
