Terrorist’s Rewarded, Flight 93 memorial is a ‘Giant Crescent’
The September 11th hijackers of Flight 93 would be thrilled. As a reward for crashing a plane and killing all of the passengers on board, Pennsylvania is now planning a crescent-shaped “memorial to heroes” dedicated to “the victims” and heros of Flight 93.
The memorial in Pennsylvania will be, in essensce, a huge outdoor mosque that pays homage to Islam.
Alec Rawls’ new book, “Crescent of Betrayal: Dishonoring the Heroes of Flight 93,” the memorialization of terrorisism, not the victims at the Flight 93 National Memorial.
The primary feature of the memorial is a giant central crescent originally called the “Crescent of Embrace“. A person facing into this half-mile wide crescent will be oriented almost exactly at Mecca.
WorldNetDaily reports that “Rawls learned from a reporter at the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that editors knew about the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent in September 2005 when the design was first unveiled. But the editors decided the information should not be published, accusing critics of being paranoid bigots.”
Rawls isn’t the only one up in arms over the Islamic style crescent being used to memorialize the horrific event, Reverend Ron McRae of the Bible Anabaptist Church near Jerome PA states, “This is a memorial to the terrorists who killed those people, not a memorial to the folks who died there innocently.”
This is ridiculous and disgusting. It’s almost impossible to understand this anti-American pro-Islamic mentality. Americans don’t want to unite with the Arab world any more than it wants America building empire in Iraq. According to the “official” story of 911, the attacks were a clashing of the two civilizations. Why then would Islam play into a memorial commemorating the lives of dead Americans, unless of course this is some form of cowardly peace offering to the Islamic extremists?
The Americans on Flight 93 didn’t ask to be attacked. This would be like errecting a World War II memorial at Pearl Harbor featuring several Japanese “War Heros” and perhaps errecting a giant statue of Adolf Hitler in the middle of Jerusalem.
