Anti Christian Legislation Makes Reading Bible Hate Crime
U.S. Rep. John Conyers, the head of the House Judiciary Committee, is working on legislation called “The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007.” This act would make reading Bible passages that others find to be offensive a hate crime.
H.R. 254 only require someone coming forth and claiming that they’ve been offended as evidence that the law has been broken.
Michael Marcavage, director of Repent America states, “Truth is not allowed as evidence in hate crimes trials. … A homosexual can claim emotional damage from hearing Scripture that describes his lifestyle as an abomination. He can press charges against the pastor or broadcaster who merely reads the Bible in public. The ‘hater’ can be fined thousands of dollars and even imprisoned!”
Similar laws are already in place in Canada, where pastors live in fear when condeming homosexuality as a sin.
Now this is important. By 2012 the United States, Canada, and Mexico will have merged into a what many know as the North American Union. It only makes sense to sync these anti-Christianity laws before entering into this New World Order superstate.
